Co2nstruct at the World Green Building Council

Husam Sameer, a researcher at the Chair of Engineering Hydrology and Water Resources Management at Ruhr University Bochum, was invited by the World Green Building Council to participate in the workshops and events at the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference 2023 (COP28), which took place in Dubai from 30 November to 12 December 2023.

Husam Sameer is part of the consortium of the international research project CO2NSTRUCT, which brings together world-leading experts and researchers with complementary expertise in the fields of construction and building materials, circular economy, and climate modelling.

As part of COP28, Husam Sameer participated in several workshops and seminars to provide up-to-date information on measures to mitigate climate change from various sectors, particularly the construction industry.
